Leicester City top-class star has been ruled out for the season due to injury

The latest Leicester City news as the club has been given a triple injury boost ahead of the final four Premier League games of the season.

Leicester City are back in Premier League action on Monday afternoon as they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage, and have received a double injury boost ahead of the game.

City goes into the match out of the relegation zone just on goal difference after a 2-2 draw with Everton last week. They are however unbeaten in their last three games, picking up five points against Wolves, Leeds, and Everton.

The team will be looking to extend that run and pick up what could be a crucial three points against Marco Silva’s mid-table side. The Cottagers have narrowly lost their last three games against Aston Villa, Manchester City and Liverpool.

Ahead of the match, Dean Smith has confirmed that both Ricardo Pereira and Jonny Evans have returned to training, meaning that they should be available for selection. Striker Kelechi Iheanacho is making quick progress, but will still be unavailable for the clash in London.

The city will also be without full-back James Justin, despite the defender returning from an Achilles injury. Justin was left out of the Premier League squad following the January transfer window, meaning he is ineligible for selection.

A loss for Leeds United against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon means that City knows that they will finish the weekend above the Whites in the Premier League table. But the eyes of fans could also be on games later on Monday.

Everton takes on Brighton and Hove Albion at 5:30 pm, just after the final whistle of City’s game, while Nottingham Forest faces Southampton at the City Ground at 8pm. Three points for City would put pressure on their rivals ahead of those games.

Smith will want as many options as possible to call on. With that in mind, here is a look at the squad that is expected to be available to the City boss on Monday afternoon.
