One of Coventry City’s famous fans has given his prediction for the Championship play-off final against Luton Town at Wembley.

The Sky Blues take on the Hatters on Saturday (4.30 pm kick-off) for a place in the Premier League next season. Coventry has enjoyed a superb season under the guidance of manager Mark Robins and is now potentially just 90 minutes away from a long-awaited return to the top flight.

Among those keeping a close eye on proceedings is Red Bull Formula One team chief Christian Horner. He will be watching from afar, however, as he prepares for the Monaco Grand Prix, with qualifying taking place on Saturday ahead of the main race on Sunday.

Horner, who hails from Leamington Spa, was asked for his thoughts on the outcome of the play-off final in an interview with Sky Sports. The 49-year-old replied: “Well, it’s Coventry all the way, obviously!”

The interviewer finished by saying, “Come on the Hatters” – referring to Luton’s nickname, leaving Horner looking slightly bemused.
