Real Madrid has made a concrete move to sign a €60 million Tottenham young star

Real Madrid find themselves in a very difficult position right now. Their plans seem to be up in the air as it has emerged that Karim Benzema could be on his way out of the club. The original expectation was that the Frenchman would stay on at Santiago Bernabeu for another season and they would bring in a backup striker for him.

Harry Kane chooses 'only' club he will leave Tottenham for as Man Utd target eyes two transfer methods

Now though, it looks like they will need to search for a striker to lead the line next season. Joselu is expected to arrive on loan for a season but he is not the player for that role.

The name Harry Kane has emerged in the rumor mill recently. The Tottenham Hotspur superstar is expected to be on the move this summer, with his current deal set to run out a year later.

In many ways, the Englishman would be the perfect replacement for Benzema. But as reported by Fichajes, the maximum limit for the signing of Kane has been set at €60 million, following the club’s transfer policy.

Real Madrid makes €60 million Kane decision

It remains to be seen if a €60 million transfer fee would be enough to sign Kane. He might be set to turn 30 years of age this summer, but he remains one of the best strikers in the world, if not the very best.

Even this season, Kane scored 30 Premier League goals. That too for a Tottenham Hotspur that was struggling. Thus, he is clearly an incredible striker.

Although there is just a year left on his deal, Tottenham Hotspur is believed to rate Kane at a transfer fee of around €100 million. And there would be no lack of interest in his signature if he was to leave. At the same time, there have been suggestions that Real Madrid could look to include parts as part of the deal, in order to bring the figure down.
