According to a report from Football London, newly appointed Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou will now assess his Tottenham squad during the summer transfer window, and he is likely to get rid of players who are unlikely to feature under him.

The report claims that the 21-year-old academy graduate could be one of the players on his way out of the club if he is deemed unnecessary by the manager.

The talented youngster will be hoping for a chance to prove himself to the new Tottenham manager and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.

In reality, Tottenham will be desperate to get back into the Champions League and they need high-quality players in order for that. While players like White could develop into Premier League footballers in the coming seasons, they are clearly not ready to make an impact on the first team just yet.

Tottenham need to sign established players who can make a difference and they should look to bring in a quality midfielder this summer.

Furthermore, White needs regular game time in order to continue his development and fulfill his potential. He is unlikely to get those opportunities at the North London club and it is better for him to move on and play at another club instead of sitting on the bench at Tottenham next season.

It will be interesting to see where the 21-year-old midfielder ends up.
