Nottingham Forest have reportedly joined the race to sign Inter Milan left-back Robin Gosens.

That’s according to Italian outlet FC Inter News who claim the 28-year-old will be allowed to leave the club this window. He netted four times in 49 appearances in all competitions this past season.

It is claimed that Inter “would be willing” to sanction a transfer if the right offer is received. The Serie A side would reportedly be looking for at least € 15 million (£13m) to part ways with the player.

Several clubs have already been credited with an interest, including Union Berlin, Bournemouth, and Wolfsburg. As for Forest, it is claimed they have recently “emerged” as one of the contenders for his signature.

Steve Cooper is in the market to sign a new left-back following Renan Lodi’s return to Atletico Madrid upon the expiration of his loan.

In addition, Gosens is thought to have “no preference” as to where his next club is. His decision is likely to depend on the best sporting and economic project.
