Norwich City transfer news: Signings and contracts announced
Norwich City have announced a number of new contracts and signings for their academy ranks.
Three players arrive having exited other clubs, while the Canaries have announced new professional contracts for six players and signed 12 players to scholarships.
Included in that group of three new arrivals is former Watford midfielder Adian Manning, who made his debut in the 1-1 pre-season draw with Barnet on Tuesday. He and Charlie Wilson, who recently left Everton, both spent time on trial at Carrow Road before being signed.
Academy goalkeepers Joe Rose and Jayden St Paul have agreed to contract extensions.
Henry Bullen, Miles Bracking, Toby Chilvers, Damari Daley, Gabriel Keita, Elliot Myles, Lloyd Ofori-Manteaw, Jaiden Owen, La’Sean Sealey, Kingston Simbai, Hugo Valencia Gomez, and Tyler Williams have signed as scholars.
An evening was held to recognize the achievements of the academy players, with players bringing their families and having photos taken with coaches and joint majority shareholders Delia Smith and Michael Wynn Jones.
Under-18s head coach Greg Crane said of the event: “It was a great evening. To see all the lads dress smart with their families and the excitement on their faces was amazing.
“Then all of them have pictures with Delia and Michael just shows how much the club not only cares about the academy but has that belonging feel to it as well.
“So, I wish all the players good luck on their journey and I’d like to thank the families for their support.”
