good news: Leeds united has beat 10 clubs in signing a key star

Leeds United in advanced talks to sign Glen Kamara as 10 clubs lose out – sources

Rangers star Glen Kamara is closing in on a £ 5 million move to Leeds United, sources have told Football Insider.

Kamara is in advanced talks with the Championship side over a move this summer.

The 27-year-old’s ball retention skills have made him an attractive prospect for Championship clubs and he has been on the radar of up to ten second-tier clubs.

The midfielder’s current contract at Ibrox runs until 2025 after joining from Dundee in 2019 for around £500,000.

Kamara has made 193 appearances for the Gers since his arrival back in 2019 and has netted nine goals and offered up 11 assists in those outings.

The Finland international has fallen down the pecking order at Ibrox under Michael Beale and made 22 Premiership appearances last term and was in the starting lineup for just over half of those outings.

Beale has been rebuilding his midfield this summer and has already brought in Todd Cantwell, Nicolas Raskin, and Kieran Dowell in midfield and the side are closing in on LAFC’s Jose Cifuentes.

Leeds are on the hunt for reinforcements this summer following their relegation from the top flight.

The Whites have already lost strikers Rodrigo who joins Al-Rayyan and Tyler Roberts who moved to Birmingham, Robin Koch has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan, and Rasmus Kristensen, Brenden Aaronson, and Marc Roca have also left on loan for the upcoming campaign.
