Wolves could sign 64-cap forward in swap deal this summer

Napoli continue to look at Max Kilman as a player of interest to replace Kim Min-jae, they could offer a swap deal according to reports.

Kilman has been tipped as a future star with Wolves placing a £30million price-tag on him, a fee Napoli won’t entertain.

This has led the club chiefs to consider some additional creative ways to put a package together than Wolves could go for.

This has led Napoli to Hirving Lozano as an option to offer in a swap deal with Kilman, according to Area Napoli.

They claim the Italian champions as the perfect option to include in a deal in order to lower the price for Kilman.

While it adds that Julen Lopetegui is an admirer of the Mexican international, who has a year left on his contract.

The report however doesn’t mention if Old Gold would be open to this deal or if Lozano would be, however it has long been thought he had a liking for the Premier League.

What Lozano could bring to Molineux

Lozano early in his career was tipped as being a huge star in world football however has never quite lived up to his tag.

Starting his career at CF Pachuca, Lozano made 149 appearances scoring 43 goals with 31 assists, earning himself a move to Europe and PSV.

At PSV, Lozano scored 40 goals and assisted 23 in just 79 appearances, which saw Napoli come calling for the Mexican.

Here he has made 149 appearances, with 30 goals and 17 assists, and last season he scored just four in all competitions.

This could have left him looking for a new challenge, with Wolves and under Julen Lopetegui’s guidance potentially a good move.

Lozano is also a rapid attacker and has been clocked with a 20.51mph top speed, faster than Barcelona forward Ansu Fati who has been recorded as having a 20.01mph top speed.

Could he succeed at Molineux?

The answer is yes, despite some unsatisfactory seasons with Napoli, Lozano is still a top quality forward.
