Leeds United vs Cardiff City on TV, channel, kick-off time and how to watch

A look at everything you need to know ahead of Leeds United’s Championship curtain raiser

Leeds United will start their Championship campaign on home soil when they take on Cardiff City at Elland Road this weekend. Pre-season has flown by in the blink of an eye and Daniel Farke’s side will start their mission to return to the Premier League.

The Whites have endured a mass exodus this summer following relegation from the top flight and have made a slow start in rebuilding the squad to compete at the top of the division. Ethan Ampadu and Karl Darlow are both shrewd signings this summer but Farke will be keen on bolstering his squad prior to the window closing.

It’s unlikely there’ll be any new faces through the door before they take on a Cardiff City side that struggled at the foot of the table in the most recent campaign. Erol Bulut has been tasked with making the Bluebirds a more competitive side and they’ve signed six players during the off-season.

They head to Elland Road this weekend looking to upset the odds and make an early statement of intent. Leeds Live has compiled everything you need to know ahead of this weekend’s Championship opener.
