Everton tie up signing of Leeds United winger

Everton have confirmed the arrival of Leeds winger Jack Harrison.

Harrison moves to Goodison Park on a season-long loan despite late interest from Premier League rivals Aston Villa on Sunday for the 26-year-old.

The ex-Manchester City prospect is currently sidelined with a hip injury which is set to delay his first appearance for Sean Dyche’s side by several weeks.

He becomes the Blues’ fourth summer arrival and could be joined by Leeds teammate Wilfried Gnonto, who is holding out for a move to Merseyside.

The Championship club issued a firm hands-off warning to Everton over the teenage winger after he refused to feature in their two most recent fixtures.
