Transfers: Wolves has signed a Super Eagles star back to Premier League

Transfers: Wolves interested in bringing Super Eagles star back to Premier League

Kelechi Iheanacho has played in all Leicester City matches this season following weeks of speculation linking him with a move away from the King Power Stadium

Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly eyeing a potential move for Kelechi Iheanacho as the transfer deadline approaches, Soccernet reports.

The 26-year-old forward has been consistently linked with a return to the Premier League after Leicester City’s relegation from last season.

Despite the relegation, Iheanacho has been an integral part of Enzo Maresca’s squad this season, contributing to their perfect start in the Championship with four wins in four matches.

With less than a year remaining on his current contract, the former Manchester City striker could begin negotiations with foreign clubs for a pre-contract agreement from January, if he decides to prolong his stay at the King Power Stadium beyond this summer.

In the latest update, it has emerged that Premier League outfit Wolves are also interested in securing the services of the Super Eagles striker, as reported by Football Insider.
