“Create and score”: Pundit believes O’Neil has an intriguing Wolves combo on his hands.

Wolves were defeated by Crystal Palace in their most recent Premier League match, and Gary O’Neil’s squad has been chastised in the final third.

In sections of the game, the Wanderers did well on the ball.

At times, they were able to get the ball into the last third fairly well.

But once there, the problems that had tormented Wolves for so long were apparent.

The final score could have been 3-2.

Wolves, on the other hand, had numerous chances to put Palace goalkeeper Sam Johnstone to the test but failed to capitalize.

Former midfielder Dave Edwards believes O’Neil has two players at his disposal who can change the game for Wolves…

Edwards praised Hwang and Kalajdzic for their recent performances for Wolves.

Fabio Silva was largely unproductive against Palace on Saturday.

Matheus Cunha, who did end up scoring, did so with one of the game’s final touches.

It’s possible that O’Neil will make adjustments versus Liverpool.

And Edwards believes that Hwang Hee-chan and Sasa Kalajdzic can both create and score goals for Wolves.

“The confusion he (Kalajdzic) causes defenders – we saw it at Everton and again against Palace,” he wrote in his current Express & Star piece. They are so concerned about getting near to him that they bring in additional players, as evidenced by Matheus Cunha’s goal.

“Hwang Hee-chan is also resembling a goal-scorer.” He gets into good spots and meets his man. His movement was excellent for his Sunday goal. Hwang and Kalajdzic appear to be capable of creating and scoring goals for the Wolves.”

Hwang and Kalajdzic have made a good start.

Sasa Kalajdzic: Wolves confirm ACL injury suffered by new striker on debut

Many Wolves fans will be eager to watch this combo play following the international break.

Hwang is undoubtedly the Wolves’ most natural finisher right now.

The South Korean has two Premier League goals so far and takes up some terrific box positions.

He is a speedy and powerful player who should start against Liverpool if he is totally fit.

And he may work well in tandem with Kalajdzic as the target man.

Hwang flourished alongside Erling Haaland at RB Salzburg, and this may be a similar dynamic.
