The match officials for Liverpool’s Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers have been confirmed.
Following the most recent international break, the Premier League will once again take center stage this weekend.
The referees for each match have been announced ahead of the weekend.
Liverpool supporters will be outraged that Paul Tierney will be in charge of the VAR during the Reds’ encounter against Wolves.
While Michael Oliver will be in control of the game on the field.

While the selection of Oliver will be acceptable to Liverpool fans, the decision to assign Tierney to VAR duties will enrage the Anfield crowd.
Tierney and Reds manager Jurgen Klopp have had a number of run-ins in the past.
Tierney was previously accused by Klopp of being biased towards the team.
“We have our story, our history with Mr Tierney,” he explained. I honestly don’t know what this man is up to with us… There is always nothing, and this is not true.
“Not possible. It cannot be, in my opinion. I’m not sure what you’re talking about. I’m not sure if it’s me because I don’t understand how he looks at me.”
The FA imposed a two-match punishment on Klopp as a result of his comments towards Tierney.
“I am sorry for my reaction in that immediate moment when I ran towards the fourth official, Mr Brooks, and I fully accepted a caution was justified,” Klopp wrote later in a letter. I’m also apologetic for the tone and content of my post-match interview.
“Although it was not my intention, I now admit that I appeared to be questioning Mr Tierney’s integrity.” “I accept responsibility for this.”
“To be absolutely clear, I know that Mr Tierney, like all other officials, does their work without any preconceived bias or prejudice,” the German added. Although not an excuse, I believe we have covered a significant portion of Mr Tierney’s matches this season. Approximately 20% of the matches he has overseen have involved my team.
“I do not offer this as a defense; rather, it is an observation that could be a reason for both the accumulation of frustration governed by an inadvertent accumulation of incidents over a long period.”
