NEWS NOW: Crystal Palace is set to hold negotiations with the 10-goal international ace.

Despite losing Wilfried Zaha in the summer, Crystal Palace appear to be doing well without him, sitting in ninth place in the Premier League, just six points behind the top four.

Despite Roy Hodgson’s recent illness, the 2023/24 season has gone as well as it could for the south Londoners so far.

More of their players are gaining international prominence, which is due in part to Hodgson’s great guidance.

There’s also a buzz about how the Eagles are playing right now.

Consistent attacking is visually appealing.

Following the retention of Michael Olise, who was the subject of intense attention from Chelsea in the summer, owner Steve Parish may be on the verge of another coup, according to The Athletic (subscription required), who reported that the club is about to initiate new contract discussions with Eberechi Eze.

Both Eze and Olise are crucial to Hodgson’s side’s style of play, and while a deal with the former, who scored 10 goals last season, may be a long way off, getting his England debut while at Palace demonstrates that the player can fulfill all of his ambitions at Selhurst Park.

There’s no need for Eze to consider transferring abroad unless his main goal is to make as much money as possible from the game.
