West Bromwich Albion could offload the 33-year-old following his..

Martin Kelly, according to West Brom manager Carlos Corberan, could be loaned out in January.
When the next transfer window opens, West Brom will decide what to do with the defender. Last season, he spent time on loan with Wigan Athletic.
Kelly, 33, is rehabilitating from a knee injury he suffered earlier this year. His contract at the Hawthorns is set to expire at the end of this season.

Corberan has contacted BirminghamLive with the following update on his situation: “We need to analyze when the right time is, and what the best decision is for him to loan or keep.” That’s something I can’t tell you right now since it’s September. If you ask me right now if he’s ready, hen I tell you he is not ready. If you ask me if he’s completed any training with the group, then no – he has not yet.”

West Bromwich Albion’s decision
West Brom signed Kelly to a two-year contract in September of last year. When he is fit, he adds competitiveness and depth to their squad, but his chances of playing regularly in the first team are minimal.

When Wigan came calling in January, the once-capped former England international was granted the go-ahead to go on a temporary basis. However, he got injured on his debut for the Latics and was ruled out for the remainder of his loan spell.

During his loan spell, his loan club was relegated to League One, and he returned to the Baggies. He is now recovering and has not yet trained.

Kelly is a seasoned player who has made over 200 appearances in his career. The Merseyside native climbed through the ranks at Liverpool, appearing 62 times for the club.
After leaving Anfield, he spent eight years at Crystal Palace before joining West Brom.
