Doyle is expected to remain in Leicester for treatment but is unlikely to return before the New Year, which means he will miss this month’s encounter against Sunderland at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday, October 24.

“It’ll take between 12 and 16 weeks,” Maresca said of Doyle on Friday. “He is the only player that is left-footed.”Because he is the only one, it is unlucky. We have a lot of right-footed guys, but he’s the only one in that position.”

“It is what it is, and we will do our best to find a solution.” JJ (James Justin) performed admirably against Liverpool and Bristol City.”
Doyle has mostly played as a left-back for Leicester this season, but he was frequently used in a back three for Coventry on loan last season.
