Magpies departures list changes

A young midfielder was among five Magpies dismissed following their Grand Final victory.

The Magpies have delisted five players after their successful 2023 campaign

TRENT Bianco and Trey Ruscoe are two of five Collingwood players who will be released after the club’s premiership-winning season in 2023.

Bianco, 22, appeared in 23 AFL games for Collingwood after being drafted in 2019. Ruscoe, 21, appeared in 18 games.

Tom Wilson, Arlo Draper, and Cooper Murley have also been removed off the list.

“Decision-making at this time of year is always difficult, and we thank each of the players for their contribution to the Collingwood Football Club,” said Graham Wright, the Magpies’ general manager of football.

Wrighty's Presser: Key takeaways

“Trent, Trey, Tom, Arlo, and Cooper all played significant roles in this year’s success, which has not gone unnoticed.” We appreciate their commitment to our football program.

“On behalf of everyone at the club, we wish each player all the very best for their futures and we hope they continue to work towards reaching their football potential.”

The five players’ exits mark Collingwood’s first list changes since the Magpies won the 2023 premiership with a Grand Final victory over Brisbane last week.
