Very, very lucky to have him – Nottingham Forest coach claims

Former Nottingham Forest Star On Tricky Trees Man Is Very, Very Lucky To Have Him
Steve Cooper’s team was looking for further competition in goalkeeping and signed Matt Turner and Vlachodimos from Arsenal and Benfica, respectively.

Benfica were hesitant to sell their best asset during the summer, but Forest were successful in luring the Greek star away on deadline day.

Steele emphasized Vlachodimos’ commanding presence between the posts, saying Nottingham Forest were fortunate to get such a player.

According to the ex-Forest player, the Greek star has excellent communication skills and a wide variety of attributes for a shot-stopper.

“One of his strengths is his distribution.” “He’s very composed on the ball,” Steele told the Athletic.

“As a keeper, he has range.” “I’m not referring to passing range.”That is, despite his height of 6ft 3in, he excels at fully extending himself.

“When you get high-balls, he can punch or claim.

“He marshals the back four and communicates with them.”

“He never makes a big deal out of things.”

“Forest are very, very lucky to have him.”

Vlachodimos is yet to make his Cooper’s side debut, but he was on the bench for the 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace.
