Jarrod Bowen’s agreement to sign a new contract with West Ham could not have come at a better time. The team didn’t need another player to go after the lengthy departure of Declan Rice.
We’ve had a fantastic start to the season, but the recent news of a contract impasse has been concerning. Only last week, Hammers sources expressed concern that Bowen was delaying a new contract. For months, the club and the players’ representative had been negotiating without success.
Bowen scored the game-winning goal in the Conference League final, cementing his place in history. However, by signing a new contract, he will no doubt go on to set records at West Ham.
