Erik ten Hag prepares a six-player fire sale as Raphael Varane is slammed

Manchester United is already looking ahead to the summer transfer window, despite the fact that the January transfer window has just ended.

Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils’ manager, plans to continue his squad overhaul by selling key players. The Dutchman wants to bring in a new group of players at the end of the season and will try to fund that by making several big-money sales.

The news comes as it was revealed that if the Glazers sell the club, they will leave behind a £500 million debt, and star defender Raphael Varane has come under fire for his decision to retire from international football. Mirror Football compiles the most recent United news.

The Glazer family may be preparing to grant many United fans’ wishes and sell the club, but the Americans have a nasty surprise in store. According to reports, the Glazers will leave the club’s £500 million debts to the next owners.

The Glazers recently listed the Red Devils for sale, asking £6 billion for the Premier League giants. And their agreement to sell United will include the understanding that they will be able to walk away from the financial mess they have created at Old Trafford.

According to the most recent accounts, United has debts of just under £515 million, which means that only £35 million of the £550 million leveraged debt imposed on the club by the Glazers has been repaid. They purchased it in 2005.
