Fulham took a deserved first-half lead thanks to Aleksandar Mitrovic’s header, but Nunez came off the bench to equalize at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

With 18 minutes remaining, Mitrovic scored a penalty after being upended by Virgil van Dijk, but Salah poked in from close range after Nunez laid the ball into his path to salvaging a point before Jordan Henderson hit the crossbar in stoppage time.

Salah scored in Liverpool’s first Premier League match for the sixth consecutive season, but they did not do enough to win and also lost Thiago Alcantara to a hamstring injury.
