Tottenham have begun talks with a’very complete’ £51 million attacker.

Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly in talks to sign Yannick Carrasco this summer.

According to the Telegraph, Tottenham is interested in signing the Atletico Madrid winger to compete with Emerson Royal.

There have also been numerous outgoings, including a number of high-profile fringe players.

Tottenham have sold Steven Bergwijn and shipped Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso out on loan.

The likes of Bryan Gil, Harry Winks, and Sergio Reguilon could also potentially leave Spurs by Thursday’s deadline.

Gil is reportedly set to rejoin Valencia on loan, but according to their manager, Tottenham wants a replacement first.

“We have closed a deal for Bryan, Tottenham have told us that it is 99% done,” 90Min quote Gennaro Gattuso as saying.

“We have been waiting for him for two or three days.

“Tottenham have told us that they have to sign a replacement so that he can travel. We are waiting for Tottenham to sign another player.”

Now, according to The Telegraph, Spurs could potentially make Carrasco that replacement.

Antonio Conte is a long-time admirer of the Belgium international.

Carrasco is a talented and experienced player described by Simeone as “very complete.”

He’s also very versatile, having played on both wings, across the front line, and as a No. 10 for Atletico Madrid.

Simeone has even used him as a backup left wing-back on occasion, so he could potentially replace Reguilon as well.

Carrasco’s contract includes a £51 million release clause, but Atletico is reportedly willing to sell for £25 million.
