confirmed lineups for Manchester City’s matchup vs Everton (Premier League)

Manchester City host Everton in their final game of the 2022 calendar year as their hunt to chase down Arsenal at the top of the Premier League continues.

Pep Guardiola’s side will be looking to maintain their impressive post-World Cup form, with wins against Liverpool and Leeds United ensuring that City remains in a prominent position to challenge for all four trophies this season.

Last time out, it was a trip to Elland Road that was comfortably dismissed via a brace from star striker Erling Haaland – who has now scored 20 goals this season alone – and a first-half opener from defensive midfielder Rodrigo.

The visit from Everton this weekend will likely offer a similarly stubborn defensive challenge as witnessed in their last Premier League game, but Frank Lampard’s men will be out to prove a point after falling to defeat against Wolves at Goodison Park last time out.

Ahead of kick-off at the Etihad Stadium, both managers have confirmed their respective starting line-ups for the 3 PM (UK) clash.
