Khun Top submitted a direct transfer message to Leicester City, prompting an inquiry about Jamie Vardy.

According to the most recent Leicester City transfer news, Brendan Rodgers  and Khun Top need to recruit a striker to replace Jamie Vardy.

Jamie Vardy’s replacement at Leicester City may require another striker in the long run, according to a former Fox.

David Nugent, a former City forward, is concerned about Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka’s goal drought this season, especially in light of the high bar they have set for themselves in prior campaigns.

Daka has scored three goals in the Premier League this season whereas Vardy has only managed one. There is no question that Daka might eventually take Vardy’s spot, despite initial concerns.

They do need players looking at the game on Boxing Day against Newcastle after just signing [defender] Wout Faes over the summer, according to Nugent, speaking to BBC Radio Leicester.

“They’ve got James Maddison out as well with injury, so does someone come in to replace him for the short-term? Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka are not really scoring, so is Daka going to be a (long-term) replacement for Vards? Maybe another striker (is needed).

“Then there’s the injuries to the full-backs, there’s not much cover there, and players out of contract too. It’s going to be a big window and hopefully Top this time can try and build the squad and make it stronger.”
