According to 90min, Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United is willing to loan away Charlie McNeill, a player who joined the Red Devils from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in 2020.

A FORMER MANCHESTER CITY LOANEE MAY LEAVE MANCHESTER UNITED
McNeill is said to be a Manchester United fan since his childhood, and he will join the club from Manchester City in 2020.

United paid City an initial sum of £750,000 for the striker, according to 90min.

McNeill has scored over 600 goals for the Citizens’ academy squads and is highly regarded in the football world.

Manchester United is willing to loan away the teenage striker in the January transfer window, according to 90min.

There is a lot of interest in teenagers as well.

Millwall, Preston North End, Blackpool, Barnsley, and Blackpool all are keen on securing the services of the 19-year-old striker on a loan deal.

United is reportedly looking to bring in Wout Weghorst on a loan deal for the rest of the season, so a loan transfer of McNeill out of Old Trafford would make sense.

McNeill, who made his senior debut for United against Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League earlier this season, could do with playing regularly for a club in the Premier League and in the Championship.

WHAT IF…

However, you do wonder, though, if the teenager could have been part of the City’s first team now had he stayed at the defending Premier League champions.

Right-back Rico Lewis is only 18, but he is playing in the Premier League for City, and so is 20-year-old midfielder Cole Palmer.
