Manchester United’s star is becoming increasingly irritated by a lack of playing time.

Since joining Manchester United, goalkeeper Tom Heaton has grown more unhappy with a lack of playing time.

Heaton got his first competitive start for Manchester United this week in the EFL Cup against Charlton Athletic.

The veteran goalkeeper has been with the club since 2021 but has had to adapt to a backup role in the squad. Heaton has now acknowledged being irritated by a lack of playing time while knowing that his opportunities would be limited.

“I have to admit that not playing has been frustrating. I was always prepared because I knew opportunities would be limited, so when you have an opportunity like this, you try to seize it. “I had a great time,” Heaton remarked, according to The Athletic.

Heaton is unlikely to be granted more than the occasional cup game, therefore he may have to consider leaving the club if he wants to become a regular starter.

Heaton, who is 36 years old, may have to drop down into the Championship to become number one anywhere. It must be frustrating to spend most of your time on the bench, but Heaton must have anticipated this. when he joined Manchester United.
