A Nigerian music star urges Victor Osimhen to join Manchester United, and the striker agrees.

According to ESPN, Victor Osimhen is high on Manchester United’s list of transfer targets for the summer of 2023.

Nigeria international Osimhen is Serie A’s top goalscorer and has propelled Napoli to the top of the table at the halfway point of the season, so interest is understandable.

Osimhen, 24, is five years younger than Harry Kane and has yet to reach his peak. He is a quick, dynamic, and exciting center-forward who could fit in nicely with Manchester United’s attack.

The forward’s top priority with Napoli is to win his first league title. But he can’t get away from Manchester United transfer rumors.

A Nigerian artist advises Victor Osimhen to join Manchester United.
Crayon, an award-winning Nigerian musician, has urged Victor Osimhen to join Manchester United after reaching out to him on social media.

Crayon, who has over 470,000 Twitter followers and 780,000 Instagram followers, urged Osimhen to join Manchester United in the summer after winning the title with Napoli.

“How far my bro! Osi nlaaaaa! Man, you found yourself!!! Abeg, come to Manchester United after you win Serie A this summer! Come get your big 9!!!”

Crayon has been nominated for three Sound City MVP Africa awards, and the striker responded to his countryman hours later, responding to one of his music videos rather than the United message.

He wrote simply “Crayway!!! Omo ope”, showing respect for his work in return, while the musician responded by lauding him “Best striker in da world”.

Reflecting on the exchange, Crayon sent another message in which he expressed his delight at being recognized by Osimhen and expressed his joy at being able to help the club he supports, Manchester United.

“Anyway, make Man U sign Osimhen,” he wrote.

Osimhen could be extremely expensive.
Manchester United is pursuing a player at a time when his transfer value is higher than ever. His crucial role in Napoli’s Serie A title defense is increasing his market value.

This week, Fabrizio Romano warned that Osimhen would likely set a club-record fee for Manchester United, exceeding the £89 million paid for Paul Pogba in 2016.

Romano said: “My personal opinion is that Napoli will not accept anything less than £105m/£115m.”

Manchester United will need a takeover to go through to fund the move. Meanwhile, Osimhen will likely have to push for an exit, which won’t be easy if Napoli is the reigning champions.

At the very least, he is aware of the fans’ desire to see him in a Manchester United shirt.
