The Glazers, the owners of Manchester United, have just revealed their true feelings about Erik ten Hag.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has signed nine players since taking over the club in the summer. And, with the Glazers’ approval, albeit with some reluctance in some cases, the Americans have demonstrated their willingness to back the 52-year-old. Even as they prepare to sell the club, the much-maligned owners are finally stepping up.

In the years since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement, the Glazers have done more damage to United than any other party.

However, by signing nine players for Ten Hag since the Dutchman’s appointment, they have at least taken the necessary action following last season’s shambles.

United signed Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Antony, and Martin Dubravka in the summer.

And, since January, they’ve strengthened their squad with loan deals for Jack Butland, Wout Weghorst, and Marcel Sabitzer.

That brings the total to nine. A figure that makes for fascinating reading, especially when compared to Ten Hag’s forefathers.
