Leicester City receives an unexpected boost following Manchester United’s ‘wrong’ decision.

Leicestershire’s most recent Leicester City news Casemiro, the midfielder for Manchester United, has been banned from the upcoming league match between the two teams at Old Trafford.

When Leicester City visits Old Trafford on February 19, Manchester United will be without key midfielder Casemiro.

The Brazilian midfielder was shown a straight red card against Crystal Palace today (Saturday) after a VAR review revealed that he had his hands around the neck of opposition midfielder Will Hughes.

Casemiro will miss United’s league games against Leeds this week, as well as the visit of Leicester later this month. The midfielder has been a standout performer for Erik ten Hag this season, and his absence will be felt by the Red Devils.

“I see two teams fighting each other,” United manager Ten Hag said after the game about the red card decision. I see two teams where several players cross the line and one is flagged and sent off. That does not sit well with me.

“Casemiro has crossed the line when you freeze. However, many more players are stepping over the line. It all comes down to consistency. You don’t want to lose players when teammates are causing so much pain to one another, as the player did last week against Christian Eriksen. This was started by a Crystal Palace player.

“Casemiro is both protecting our player and the player who wants to attack. He’s holding him back because he wants to protect him and doesn’t want to hurt the player.” When asked if Jordan Ayew should have been sentenced as well, Ten Hag said, “Definitely.”
