Andriy Shevchenko has raved about reported Arsenal target, James Maddison.
The former Chelsea striker said on Channel 4 last night that he has been impressed by Maddison, who has been linked with a move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Shevchenko has said that the England international midfielder has been incredible for Leicester so far this season.
The former Ukraine international said that England head coach Gareth Southgate was right to include Maddison in his starting lineup at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday.
England beat Ukraine in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier.
90min reported in February 2023 that Arsenal is among the clubs who are keen on signing Maddison in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur has also been linked with the 26-year-old England international attacking midfielder, who has scored nine goals and given six assists in the Premier League so far this season.
