Leicester City midfielder James Maddison says Jack Grealish is at the “top-level” with Manchester City.
Grealish published a celebratory Instagram post after his Man City team beat Real Madrid 4-0 to reach the Champions League final on Wednesday evening.
The post prompted a response from City midfielder Maddison, who is likely to leave during the summer transfer window, regardless of whether Leicester will be playing in the Championship or Premier League.
Man City has been strongly linked with an interest in Maddison ahead of the summer transfer window, with talk that the Premier League champions are set to make a move for the midfielder.
Maddison was among the high-profile players in the comments, writing: “Top level brother” with two clapping emojis.
City first team coach John Terry also commented, saying: “Congratulations mate. One more to go”.
