James Maddison sends a two-word message to Jarrod Bowen ahead of Leicester City v West Ham United

James Maddison has sent a two-word social media message to West Ham United forward Jarrod Bowen after the new arrival of his twin daughters.

The two players could take the field on Sunday [28 May] during their final-day Premier League clash between West Ham and Leicester City with the Foxes facing the potentially unavoidable threat of relegation.

However, in the lead-up to the match, there was some source of joy for the Hammers winger as he posted on Instagram [25 May] the arrival of his twin daughters.

And Maddison sent his congratulatory message to his opponent on Sunday, replaying:

“Congrats mate.”

Huge congrats

Huge congratulations to West Ham United star Bowen and his partner for the birth of his twins ahead of what promises to be an exciting and fruitful couple of weeks for the England international.

The 26-year-old could well enjoy a hattrick of celebrations, with the birth of his twin daughters, a possible win over Maddison’s Leicester City, and a historic Europa Conference League final victory over Fiorentina on June 7 putting the gloss over a rather difficult campaign.

With Maddison enjoying a similar blessing a few weeks back, he’d also be praying for some sort of success on the pitch on Sunday as his team faces the unfortunate threat of relegation, even if they win at the King Power.

This Instagram post certainly sets things up nicely for Sunday’s huge game, but for now, Bowen will be resting in the joy of knowing he’s brought two new bouncing girls into the world.

Leicester City fans will be hoping that doesn’t inspire him to go up another level during Sunday’s encounter.
