West Ham United may get the final laugh as Jesse Lingard is involved in a pay dispute with a Saudi club.
According to talkSPORT, West Ham could have the last laugh in the ongoing story with Jesse Lingard, who is currently in a pay dispute with Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq over his demands.

The digital media outlet revealed on their website on September 25 that there is still work to be done before Lingard completes his move to the team managed by Steven Gerrard, with the club refusing to meet his £7 million pay demands.

According to reports, Al-Ettifaq’s budget for Lingard’s potential deal is closer to £4.35 million, resulting in a debate over the terms on offer.
While it is still believed that Gerrard wants to add the former England international to his squad, and Lingard wants to move to Saudi Arabia, there is a chance that this transaction will not go through.

This would make West Ham fans happy, who have grown tired of Lingard’s antics. He had been training at Rush Green for almost a month in the hopes of landing a contract and increasing his condition, but it appears that the Saudi option was always his preferred option.

West Ham reportedly paid for Lingard’s lodging, transportation, and food, as well as supplying him with the equipment he needed to continue his physical regimen.
Fans were already wondering whether they could dismiss their misgivings about the player as he turned down a return to the London Stadium in favor of a move to Nottingham Forest, who reputedly offered more money, despite having a fantastic loan spell with the Hammers.
When asked about the transfer situation, David Moyes simply stated, “No disappointment at all (that Lingard is training with Al-Ettifaq).” I’m completely at ease and relaxed with it. We like Jesse, but I’m not sure if we need another player in his position.”
