The talisman of Wrexham was nominated for the award following an amazing season in which he scored 24 goals in 38 league appearances for Phil Parkinson’s team after sustaining a ruptured lung during the preseason. Wrexham was able to secure back-to-back promotions and a spot in League One for the upcoming season thanks in large part to the goals Mullin scored.
Mullin has spent the off-season working hard. As he gets ready for another campaign with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny’s team, he showed off a boxing workout at the gym. In July, Wrexham will take a plane to the United States once more to play preseason matches against Chelsea, Bournemouth, and the Vancouver Whitecaps.
He wrote on Instagram: “Thanks to everyone that voted!! Another something to show Albi when he’s older.”
