The Athletic are reporting this morning (9:10am, August 31, 2021) that Jarrod Bowen will not leave David Moyes’s West Ham United for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
It is being reported that Liverpool have been following Bowen, who is on the shortlist of players the Reds want to sign.
However, the attacker will not leave West Ham on transfer deadline day.
The report has added that Liverpool will continue to monitor the progress of the 24-year-old, who can play as a winger, midfielder or forward.
Liverpool are a massive club, and you would understand if Bowen actually wanted to leave West Ham for the Reds.
In this regard, we have to stress that are no credible reports saying that the former Hull City man wants to join Liverpool.
Liverpool have a strong attacking unit, and Bowen would struggle to play week in and week out for Jurgen Klopp’s team.
Staying at West Ham and continue to develop his game does make sense for the 24-year-old
Bowen scored eight goals and gave five assists in 30 Premier League starts last season.
The West Ham attacker has played three games in the Premier League so far this season.
