The five-word Wor Flags Tweet has Newcastle fans salivating for Wembley Stadium.

Wor Flags has teased something very special for Newcastle United fans ahead of their trip to Wembley this month.

Newcastle United’s long-awaited return to Wembley Stadium for the Carabao Cup final against Manchester United is still 19 days away, but nothing will stop Magpies fans from fantasizing about February 26.

Newcastle’s last visit to the famous London stadium was in 2000, but this month’s return will be the first at the new venue and a chance for the club to win its first major trophy since 1955.

Tickets have begun to go on sale to fans, with different waves coming this week for supporters who meet various requirements. Many people have already booked train tickets and hotels, with or without match tickets, just to be in London with the thousands of other Geordies on that day.

From London meet-ups to a nervy pre-match drink and scouting out the best of Wembley’s grub, there’s a lot to look forward to, but the real magic will happen once inside the prestigious venue.

St. James’ Park has grown into a feisty fortress over the last year under new ownership and management, with fans eager for their team to succeed. Wor Flags is at the heart of this.

The supporters’ group organizes the impressive and, at times, emotional flag displays that cover the St. James’ Park stands before games, and they are an important part of the Magpie community.

Wor Flags have already confirmed that they are working on something for Wembley, and it looks like it will be something special if a recent cryptic Tweet is any indication.

The Toon Polls Twitter account, run by a well-known Newcastle United fan, shared an image of one of the Wor Flags displays and wrote: “Hello, @wembleystadium. Is it permissible to bring massive flags to the Carabao Cup Final? I’m looking for a friend.”

The prospect of doing so may excite Newcastle United fans, but Wor Flags’ response should send Wembley fever soaring.

The group replied: “You can do, but maybe there are other plans.”

Fans will have to wait until the big day to see what Wor Flags have in store for them, but the Carabao Cup final is rapidly approaching.
