Both Arsenal and Tottenham entered this Premier League matchup with a perfect record. The London rivals drew 2-2 at the Emirates Stadium to split the points, thus neither team had to give up that record.

Heung-min Son, the captain of Tottenham, twice helped his club get back into the game with precise finishes, one in each half.

Son converted his first goal with a deft touch after James Maddison tricked his way to the byline and fizzed a ball across the six-yard area.

Then, immediately after Arsenal controversially converted a penalty in the second half, Son was again assisted by Maddison, who then assisted Son in putting the ball past David Raya to tie the score.

Son has scored five goals thus far this season, and he is ably serving as a captain. In his post-game press conference, Ange Postecoglou said this about his captain (via Football.London).

He has excelled both as a player and a leader. He works incredibly hard now that I’ve moved him to the rank of nine. His first consideration is what is best for the team, and he positions himself in that position before having the ability to finish, according to Postecoglou.

I’m overjoyed for him. Sonny is spearheading that with Madders and Romero, when I talk about that amazing environment with the guys,” he continued.
