Tottenham Hotspur decide not to sell their key player again……

Spurs are reluctant to let go of “key player” Emerson Royal this month since Ange Postecoglou has had second thoughts about the Brazilian.

Tottenham 'liability' slammed as Conte's side 'were miles off it' against Arsenal - 'it was awful to watch'
Football Insider reports that Tottenham has chosen to retain Emerson Royal past the current transfer window because Ange Postecoglou is pleased with the Brazilian’s play. The 25-year-old utility man’s ability to fill in at the back could have a significant impact on the rest of the season.

Tottenham will not sell Emerson Royal.

Emerson Royal was essentially surplus to requirements in the summer but stayed at Tottenham beyond the transfer deadline. Pedro Porro had already usurped his place since his January arrival, as the Spaniard started the new season as Ange Postecoglou’s first choice right back.

In January, there were rumors that Tottenham may have taken a chance on the Brazilian, and he has since made some standout performances amid a back injury crisis. In the numerous games that Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven have missed, Postecoglou has favored the 25-year-old utility man over Eric Dier, who is a more natural fit.

Given that Dier has already left and Tottenham has chosen to re-loan Djed Spence, Emerson may be heavily involved in the second half of the season. By bringing in Radu Dragusin, they have admitted that the 25-year-old utility player is not a natural center back, but the Brazilian may still be Porro’s first-choice right-back cover.

According to a report, Tottenham is now determined to keep Emerson on staff after turning down Al-Nassr’sofferfor the player. After his outstanding performances in crunch time, Postecoglou now regards the Brazilian as a “key player.” They may reevaluate their choice in the summer.

Spurs will soon wrap up their January business.
Postecoglou must have been pleased with Tottenham’s transfer activity’s effectiveness. First, RB Leipzig loaned Timo Werner with a buy option, and then, despite fierce competition from Bayern Munich, Spurs signed Radu Dragusin, a top defensive target.

When it comes to incoming business, they might take in one attacker before closing their window, but they might still permit some loan departures. Antonio Nusa of Club Brugge is still their top target, and they are a slight favorite to sign the teenage Norwegian.
