The Seattle Seahawks are smack dab in the middle of the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. They are a team in an interesting spot after welcoming Mike Macdonald in as their head coach, replacing longtime leader Pete Carroll.
Seattle has some solid foundational pieces, but could be set for a new identity moving forward. Fans could get a glimpse into that identity starting on Thursday. 
There are several options with that first pick, and opportunity to fill a lot of key holes throughout the entirety of the draft. The Seahawks are a major wildcard when the draft kicks off, but here are some prospects to keep a close eye on
The Seahawks got a bit of a breakout season from Boye Mafe in 2023, leading the team with nine sacks. Outside of him, there are still questions long term from a pass rush perspective. Even without Pete Carroll as the head coach of Seattle, they are still a team built to be strong on the defensive side of the football.
When it comes to pro ready producers, Latu is about as easy of a bet as you will find. There are some obvious medical questions but if healthy, the UCLA standout brings a great floor to the table. He is the most technical refined pass rusher in the 2024 class.
