NEWS NOW: Spurs has now agreed to sign “world class” Ange target as soon as possible

Tottenham are said to be pressing for a “new target” for Ange Postecoglou, with the north London club willing to pay an eight-figure fee for his departure.

Who has Tottenham signed for the 2023 season?
In order to support his new management, Lilywhites chairman Daniel Levy attempted to bring in seven key acquisitions during the summer transfer window of 2023.

Indeed, Spurs recruited goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, young centre-back Ashley Phillips, dependable defender Micky van de Ven, England midfielder James Maddison, winger Manor Solomon, exciting striker Alejo Veliz, and Wales forward Brennan Johnson before the September 1 deadline.

Former superstar strikers Harry Kane, Sergio Reguilon, Joe Rodon, Djed Spence, Harry Winks, Alfie Devine, Troy Parrott, Dane Scarlett, Davinson Sanchez, and Tanguy Ndombele all moved in the opposite way on loan or permanently.

After these off-field dealings, Postecoglou’s squad has had an absolutely fantastic start to the 2023/2024 Premier League season, as Spurs remain unbeaten after a thrilling 2-2 north London derby draw at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

They were compelled

“They’ve come through that, going toe to toe with a top side,” Postecoglou explained.

“There’s a genuine desire to become the team we want to be, which includes being disciplined and buying into the team ethos, and we had a very young team out there.” Vic was playing in his first derby, Destiny, van de Ven, Pape Matar Sarr, Brennan, they’re all in their early twenties, Porro, even Kulusevski is only 23, so it was a youthful team, but I’m happy of the seasoned guys we did have in there.

“Romero was outstanding, Bissouma has been brilliant all year, Maddison, and Sonny was just on a different level, not just his goals, which were excellent, but his work rate, which was exceptional.”

What is the most recent Tottenham Hotspur transfer news?
Spurs’ summer business appears to have been bang on thus far, since they have yet to lose a league game, although rumours claim they failed in their pursuit of a second centre-back acquisition after van de Ven. They reportedly made a late effort to capture Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly and could re-sign him this winter.

However, it appears that Tottenham wants to sign another player “as soon as possible.”

The player in question is Juventus star Gleison Bremer, and according to a Spanish rumor, Spurs are willing to spend more than £35 million to sign him in exchange for Postecoglou.

Bremer is supposed to be a “top central defender” that Levy and company are hunting for next. The Brazilian is also one of Postecoglou’s specific “new targets” to strengthen his backline.

Bremer appeared in 30 league games for the Old Lady last season, ranking as one of their top performers per 90 according to WhoScored. The center-back has also been dubbed “world class” by the press.
